HOTELS PARIS SAINT GERMAIN DES PRES

Is it really necessary to describe Saint-Germain-des-Prés, its atmosphere, its history, its soul? It is one of those neighborhoods that remained frozen in time. Parisians love Saint-Germain-des-Prés district; they love to sit on the terrace of the legendary café Les Deux Magots, sway to the beat at the Jazz à Saint-Germain festival, receive invitations to art gallery openings and buy the latest fashionable books in the local bookshops.

Art, literature and gastronomy are everywhere in Saint-Germain-des-Prés: La Hune, the Eugène Delacroix Museum, the Aux Prés restaurant… Our hotel receptionists have some excellent advice to share with you!

Tourists tread the cobblestones of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, imagining Sartre and Beauvoir at the Café de Flore, appreciating the oldest bell tower in Paris, that of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés church. They like to go to hidden places like Place Furstemberg and the Cour du Commerce Saint-André, and end the day with a stroll across the Seine, admiring the sunset, to arrive at the Louvre Museum.

The Hôtel Trianon Rive Gauche, Hôtel des Marronniers, Hôtel de Seine, Hôtel des 2 Continents and Welcome Hotel Paris are all located in this area.

Although Saint-Germain-des-Prés has excellent public transport links (metro, bus, RER to airports, taxi stations), walking is still the best way to explore Paris. The narrow streets of the 6th arrondissement, with their cafés and boutiques, lead in just a few minutes to Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, the Musée du Luxembourg and the fantastic Luxembourg Gardens. Moreover, getting out of Saint-Germain-des-Prés could not be easier. Line 4 from Odéon or Saint-Germain-des-Prés takes you directly to the Sacré Cœur, and the RER C from Saint-Michel Notre Dame takes you to the Palace of Versailles.

Saint-Germain-des-Prés is the ideal starting point for a cultural, artistic or gastronomic stay, and the promise of an unforgettable Parisian experience. See you soon…
